Short description:

The Biology, MSc course trains the researchers of the future in the fields of genetics, plant biology, ecology, evolutionary biology, and zoology. Students will learn specialized knowledge in biology and ecology; how to plan and carry out research projects, collect and analyze data, write up and publish results; and conduct their own small-scale research projects under the supervision of world-renowned experts in biology and ecology.

Internship/Practice: Students can complete practical experience at a company or research institute.

  • Year 2: Cell Biology, Molecular and Synthetic Biology, Regulatory Biology, Physiology and Immunology, Evolutionary Biology, Microbial Biotechnology, Data processing and analysis, Machine learning, Thesis.
