Short description:

Currently, one doctoral program is available in the Doctoral School: “Changes of State and Law in Central and Eastern Europe.” One of the aims of our doctoral program is to contribute to the education of the next generation of academics in the area of law at a high standard. Additionally, we intend to meet the growing demand for PhD degrees as indicators of the capability for high-level abstraction, as well as the knowledge and talent necessary for applying the findings of academic research.

Related to this, we aim to develop candidates' abilities for primarily applied research, enabling them to utilize their extensive knowledge in appropriate areas of administration or legal practice later in their careers. We foster skills in capable individuals, enabling them to employ empirical and other academic research methods effectively and produce book-length, original publications in specific areas of scholarship.
